Pardo is an architecture office founded by Sofia Morais Parente and André Delgado in 2014.
Architects by Escola de Arquitectura da Universidade do Minho, Guimarães (2003-2008), Sofia has also studied at Università degli Studi di Ferrara, Italy and André at ZHAW, Switzerland.
Between 2009 and 2014, they collaborated in the Centro de Estudos da Escola de Arquitectura da Universidade do Minho, working in different projects such as, ‘Urban Rehabilitation of Praça do Toural, Alameda de São Dâmaso and Rua de Santo António’, within the European Capital of Culture Guimarães 2012; ‘Rehabilitation of Baluarte de Santo António - Interpretation Centre of Cité Portugaise Mazagão’, El Jadida, Morocco; intervention at Museu Nogueira da Silva, Braga; design and assemble of the exhibition ‘Missão Fotográfica: Paisagem Transgénica’, Guimarães 2012.
In 2013, they won the first price of the competition “Fazer acontecer a Regeneração Urbana”, a project for an area in the historical centre of Viana do Castelo.
Pardo develops projects of refurbishment, extension, new constructions and interiors, both on a residential and urban scale. It also develops its practice in collaboration with other teams.
